Ultimate is a must-play, without a doubt. Do I recommend it?: If you're looking for a party game to play with other people, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is legendary it's the best written love letter to gaming that there has ever been, a wonderful celebration of the videogame medium and arguably one of my favorite videogames of all time. Pros: + Everyone is here + Excessive amount of content + Flawless gameplay + Gorgeous visuals + Incredible music Cons: - Netcode Gameplay: 10/10 Content: 10/10 Characters: 10/10 Music: 10/10 Art/Style: 9/10 Final Rating: 10/10 - Masterpiece - Super Smash Bros. I seriously can't comprehend how much care and detail has been put into this game! As for the flaws, I really can't think of any, aside from maybe the inconsistent netcode the online is a bit laggy at times. Ultimate is just perfect! Also, the art style is fantastic and the music is wonderful it's an enormous music collection that consists of each franchise represented in this game. Ultimate has 86 fighters (89 counting Pokémon Trainer and Pyra & Mythra as separate characters), 116 stages (340 including the Battlefield & Ω forms), over 1.100 songs, a ton of different game modes, and the attention given to each franchise represented in this game is astonishing! Aside from the insane amount of content though, the gameplay in Super Smash Bros. It ended up being worth getting a Nintendo Switch just for this game and here's why: Super Smash Bros. The inclusion of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII was a dream come true for me and I still can't believe Joker from Persona 5 - literally my favorite videogame of all time - made it into Super Smash Bros. The staggering amount of characters and content in general. Ultimate convinced me to buy a Nintendo Switch mainly for 3 reasons: 1. Brawl on the Nintendo Wii was one of the best videogames I played during my childhood and it's probably one of my favorite videogames of all time.
